The Synagogue aims to provide a general help service for members and their families to supplement what may be available elsewhere.
In addition to hospital visits by a minister, the Welfare
Committee through its team of volunteers endeavours to
carry out occasional or regular home visiting, befriending,
telephone contact and general assistance as and when the need
arises.
Should you have some problem you would like to discuss or feel that you might benefit from expert counselling or support, we are conversant with the appropriate sources available to the community and would be pleased to advise as to what is available and to make the initial contact should you so wish.
If you think we can help in any way or if you know of someone who is in need of assistance please let us know. There must be many people in our community who would welcome visits or support but if we are not told of them, we have no way of knowing.
To contact Welfare please telephone the Synagogue office. Messages can be left 24 hours a day and there is no need to give any details at this stage. The number is 020 8554 5969.
